What does Wireless Broadband mean?
If you can't receive ADSL or Cable Broadband it may be possible for you to have a broadband connection using wireless technology. Wireless Broadband works using a receiver on the outside of the house which sends signals through to connection points inside. These in turn then send the data through to your computer. You should be aware that there are few wireless service providers in the UK at present and it is not possible to receive wireless broadband services in all areas.

Wireless Broadband offers you much the same service as a dial-up connection, only much faster.

- Antenna - The antenna is roughly the size of a lap top computer and is fitted to the roof of your house.. A simple 'Line of Sight' survey is conducted to ensure optimum performance before the antenna is fixed to your premises. The antenna is then connected to the Speedbox and provides a high-speed link to Wireless Broadband.
